Psalm 52:8. But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in Gods unfailing love forever and ever.
A Women’s Bible Study, “Full: Food, Jesus, and the Battle for Satisfaction,” by Asheritah Ciuciu will begin on Sunday January 14 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Scottsburg United Methodist Church. These lessons will continue each Sunday night for 13 weeks. There will not be any lesson on April 1, Easter Sunday.
Join Asheritah Ciuciu as she shares honestly about her own battles with food and reveals the path to freedom. In her book Full: Food, Jesus, and the Battle for Satisfaction, you’ll discover the joy of living free from food fixation so you can experience deeper satisfaction in Christ, gain a renewed sense of purpose, and yes, even enjoy good food (without regret). With a stronger relationship with Christ, you can have a healthier relationship with food. A quiz is included to help you find out if you have food fixation, plus practical strategies for overcoming it.
If you would like to be a part of this bible study please call or email the church office to register by Sunday January 7. Each participant that registers will receive a workbook on the night of the first lesson. A donation of $15.00 per participant to cover the cost of the book will be appreciated but not required. When registering please include your name, phone number, & email address. Contact the SUMC church office by phone: 812-752-3545 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
